About Our Club

The University of Minnesota Women's Club Soccer team was founded in 2008 and officially established as a campus Sports Club in 2015. As of 2026, our program has joined US College Club Soccer, competing at a high level against club teams on both the regional and national level.

We foster a level of dedication, enrichment, and values that complements the academic initiatives of this University. To be considered eligible to play, athletes must maintain at least a 1.65 cumulative GPA, carry a minimum of 13 credits as an undergraduate or 6 credits for graduate students, and be within 6 years of the first term of full-time enrollment as an undergraduate student.

Our team has regular practices twice a week and a full game schedule throughout the fall, with periodic games continuing into the spring semester. While we historically competed in the NIRSA league and regional/national tournaments, beginning in 2026, our team will compete to earn a spot in the US College Club Soccer National Tournament.
